Celebrating the hard work behind Powys businesses

We were delighted to return to the Powys Business Awards last Friday, joining businesses from across the county for an evening of celebration at Dering Lines in Brecon.

As sponsors of the Small Business Award, we had the pleasure of celebrating the achievements of CDL Group, Forsiteservices Ltd and Builth Wells Veterinary Practice. Francesca Jones of 5C Services Ltd presented the award to the winning team from Builth Wells Veterinary Practice. Congratulations to all three businesses, it was lovely to see their teams enjoying recognition for their hard work.

Joining us at our table were Tremio, who produced all of this year’s finalist videos. Seeing the businesses’ stories on screen was a highlight of the evening, bringing a little of their day-to-day work to the celebrations and giving us the chance to learn more about the people behind them.

Alongside the awards, we enjoyed a performance from The Regimental Band of The Royal Welsh and a lovely three-course meal prepared by ESS Defence, part of Compass Group. There was plenty of time to catch up with familiar faces, make new connections and share in the excitement as the winners were announced.

Our thanks go to Ceri, Sam and everyone at Mid Wales Manufacturing Group for all the hard work that went into organising the evening. We thoroughly enjoyed being part of it and helping celebrate the businesses that make Powys such a great place to work.

Congratulations to all of this year’s finalists and winners. We’ll see you next year !
