The Project
Taking on new clients is always exciting for us at 5C Services.
Trax JH Ltd, the market leaders in balance weight innovation and design with sites based in Newtown and Welshpool. Becoming a 5C Services customer in February 2018 we were able to quickly provide support for their systems to deliver increased security measures and performance.
For this project, we were able to make substantial improvements to a system that Trax JH Ltd had been ‘putting up with’ for quite some time. As a result we were therefore able to improve performance, stability and security.
Our Solution
Along with our guaranteed response times, providing quick and easy access to a support engineer when needed, we were able to offer some quick fixes for their system, security and network to increase usability and throughput.
Along with long term plans to completely overhaul the systems we have installed and setup new security agents, secure remote access and mobile device management systems to provide data protection in line with GDPR to govern access to the corporate email system.
We also installed 2 next generation security firewalls in both of their sites to provide increased internet security and a secure IPSEC tunnel to interconnect the sites.
During this time, we also commenced on a file encryption system that will deliver increased security to company data in line with GDPR and provide instant, agentless access to encrypted company data for all users. This system has been tested thoroughly by 5C Services and we strongly recommend it to any company that wants to increase security of their company data.
We are still in the roll out process of further changes and are confident that once complete, Trax JH Ltd will have a future proof, robust system that will service their company for the foreseeable future.
